People With Smiles Camp for Prader-Willi Syndrome: Makes Me A Happy Camper

We are so excited to be announcing a new twist on our "People With Smiles" Camp this year!

DATE: October 26 - October 28, 2018
PLACE: Camp For All, Burton, Texas

Camp is a place where all children get to experience opportunities for independence, increased self-confidence and community-living skills. For children and adults with Prader Willi Syndrome, this is even truer. Camp For All helps our campers Discover Life by showing them that there are other people out there with the same issues. Campers also find out more things that they CAN do at Camp due to barrier-free facilities, universal programming and understanding staff.

Our Camp Committee chose to move to another facility this year for several reasons. The location will be "Camp For All" (aka: CFA) located in Burton, TX. They are an accredited ACA camp that will be able to accomodate more Campers/Counselors in order to expand registration and open additional Camper spots as we are growing every year! CFA is in the process of building another FANTASTIC facility. By taking an 'off-season' date for a few years we will be given first considerations for a full-week long camp which has been a long term goal of ours from the beginning; not only for Campers, but also to allow families more time for respite.

We're SUPER excited and can't wait to host another camp filled with new, fun-filled and fantastic adventures!!!
